Question 2. Why 6410 Factory Shoals Road, Mableton, GA 30126 was selected as location for Angel Eyes Studios 5, Inc.?
Answer: The property at 6410 Factory Shoals Road, Mableton, GA 30126 was previously a plumbing company, Zoned GC/R15. The future land use is Zoned for MDR, (Medium Density Residential). The property is on the Plantation Pipeline that runs diagonally through the property, as well as has a 180 feet Cell Tower with the same distance, 180ft, fall radius. Building residential properties on this land has many limitations, restrictions and guidelines. Undesirable for residential properties, but perfect for Angel Eyes Studios 5. Across the street, to the south is a church, to the left of property, east, is Factory Shoals Drive. In the back of the property, north, are residential properties. The diversity of zoning surrounding the proposed property provides the ideal location for AES. The mixed use zoning (PVC) will allow for the production stages, restaurants to include a coffee shop, pizza bar, Jamaican restaurant, tutoring business and residential atop the mixed used area. (See proposed Site Plan).

Question 4. What are production offices? Answer: Filming any productions is a temporary occurrence. A production films a movie or an episodic/television show and/or series. The production leases temporary space for the production staff to work daily. Staff such as producers, assistant directors, department heads and accounting work regular hours, Monday thru Friday during pre-production, production, and post-production. Angel Eyes Studios, 5 Inc., will provide facilities for production companies to operate/lease offices for their production.
Question 5. What is the difference between filming at Angel Eyes Studios 5, Inc. stages as opposed to filming on Location?
Answer: At a production stage such as Angel Eyes Studios, 5 Inc., all activities, movement are contained inside the property and is a more controlled environment. This includes a production basecamp, crew parking, working trucks, catering, etc. Crew arrives at call time (start of work) and park their vehicle in Crew Parking. Basecamp remains stationary the duration of filming. Crew leaves when filming is wrapped for the day, just as when someone gets off work. There will be minimal movement, I.E. going in and out to pick up cast (actor/actress) or when background (extras needed for filming) arrive. Call times are sometimes different for cast and background. Filming on location has many moving parts. A production base camp can be set up in one location, which is different from where crew parking is located. Also a set is at another location and catering is yet at another location. Production equipment and trucks are also parked in neighborhoods on streets. Production vehicles move from crew parking, base camp and sets on a regular basis. Because movement is constant, this can interrupt a community.
Question 6. What is Basecamp? Answer: Basecamp is a stationary area from which the crews work. These include production trailers, such as hair and makeup, wardrobe, cast trailers, assistant directors, etc.
Question 7. Will there be loud noises?
Answer: All filming is conducted inside the sound proofed stages. Most if not all set designs are constructed inside a specific sound proofed workshop to limit noise. Little to no noise will be heard during production and during filming. In addition, the natural barrier of (what is the natural barrier?) will deter most of or all of the noises inside the property during filming.
What if a production must film loud noises?
Production companies must apply for permit and Variances if unusual noises are in filming and the production must notify properties.
Question 8. Will there be a lot of traffic continuously in and out of the property? Answer: Filming at Angel Eyes Studios, 5 Inc., is like any other business with set times for a regular day of work. However, the day may require longer hours. As previously mentioned, the crew arrives at call time, parks in crew parking, and leaves when production wraps. Base camp arrives prior to call times and remains parked and stationary on the property until all filming wraps. If filming is a multiple day production,
Question 9. Will there be a lot of lights?
Answer: Just like any other parking lot, Angel Eyes Studio 5 will have light parking areas. During evening hours, the parking areas will be lit during filming and natural barriers will deter most of the light to the residential area.
Question 10. What if a production company wants to use my property for filming? Answer: It is customary for production companies to sometimes have location filming. Most of the time, production companies want to stay in close proximity to where they are filming. If you want your property to be considered for filming, please email or call with your contact information to include your name, address, e-mail and your consent to provide your information to production companies. Thus, you can make your property available to be considered for filming. Someone from the location department will contact you, leave a card or note on your door or call you. You can negotiate the cost for the production company to use your property for filming. You will need to sign a Location Agreement allowing the production access to your property. If you are not interested, we definitely respect your decision, in having your property used in filming, please e-mail or call to place your address on the “Do Not Knock List” so you will not be contacted. There are opportunities for production companies to use residential/commercial properties as income earning potential. If you’re interested in this income opportunity, please get in touch with AES.
